He sat in their midst.
He ate with them.
He ate with those who were despised.
He saw their humanity.
He got to know them.
He included them. He loved them.
Let us worship.
We come to worship the God of the one who crossed boundaries, turned tables upside down, and sat among tax collectors. Amen.
